Welcome to the new home of the Association of Motor Carrier Operation Specialists (AMCOS).

This is our Town Hall, where AMCOS members can come to get important information, keep up with members of the AMCOS family, and share thoughts and complaints. But its re-design has a second audience in mind: the public and the media. It is from here that we will tell public and press what our department cannot or will not, as it relates to the public safety of Californians.

This is our site, not our department’s. It is time we start letting people know who we are, what we do, and why we’re vitally important to their safety.

What you see now is only the beginning. Improvements will evolve. How fast that happens depends on you. I would like to hear your thoughts, suggestions, worries, complaints, and – hopefully – a few compliments. E-mail me with them at amcos2001@hotmail.com

It is up to us to make this work. What we hope to accomplish as an organization starts here.
