No Post-Election Challenges Filed by Teamsters Local 228
Date: 12/7/2005
Of the valid non-challenged ballots, CAUSE received 2,593 votes; Teamsters Local 228 received 884 votes; and 298 voted for no representation. CAUSE therefore, received approximately 70% of valid ballots and Local 228 received approximately 24% of valid ballots.
Based on the overwhelming support for CAUSE, it was predicted there would not be any post-tally challenges to the election by Teamsters Local 228. No such challenges were filed and on December 2, 2005 PERB certified CAUSE Statewide Law Enforcement Association as the exclusive bargaining agent for Unit 7.
